Merry Christmas to all those celebrating!

To add to your holiday cheer, I’ve got an extensive overview of the new VA stills which were – I guess – our early Christmas present from the creators of the movie! (I hope they drop something else equally delicious, but if no… hey, those ~20 stills made me pretty happy anyway!)

For the purpose of being comprehensive and persuasive, I used not only the recently released images but the old ones as well.

VA Theatrical Trailer - Spotting Details

IT'S HERE!

The first theatrical Vampire Academy trailer is finally here so we can swoon over it 24/7 (and honestly, that's what I've been doing for the past 10 hours - whale noises, dopey smiling and giggling, clapping hands like a seal)

(Yeah, exactly like this. Non-stop.)

But it didn't stop me from noticing some interesting stuff in the trailer - and that's exactly what we'll talk about today.

The behind the scenes exclusive aired some hours ago and I'm posting this as soon as possible (I did have to go to work, so...)

The exclusive was really nice and you don't need me telling you things that I liked. You can figure that out on your own, right? I'd better concentrate on the bits of the movie scenes and sets we got to see (and to which you probably didn't pay much attention, being too concentrated on what the actors were saying - I know I didn't see anything the first time around. Or the second, for that matter!)

On October 8 ET is going to air an exclusive behind the scenes footage from the set of Vampire academy movie. The promo just hit the web and it looks beyond amazing! We get to see Rose (Zoey Deutch) somewhere in school and then the sneek peak of the epic fight between Rose and Dimitri (Danila Kozlovsky) when they first meet. Let's talk about the fight, shall we?

Собственно, о драке и поговорим.

Teaser trailer contains very little footage from chapters 6-10 but I sure have some ideas as for which book scenes will look yummy on the big screen, as well as some assumptions which I’d like to believe are true.

Vampire academy: trailer vs book 1 | Chapters 1-5

So it's been literally ages since I read the 1st VA book. Actually, I read it only once, back in 2009 which seems like a million years ago. By now I remember only a couple of major plot points, which is kind of great as I've decided to re-read the 1st installment of the series. This decision was brewing inside of me for quite some time, and the teaser trailer was the last drop. I couldn't wait any longer.

There were some negative reactions to the teaser and that was one more reason to read VA again to see how true to the book the teaser (and that's merely 1 minute of hundreds of hours of footage) was. I managed to read 5 chapters yesterday and would like to give you some thoughts on what I've loved, what scenes we've seen in the teaser and establish some chronology of the parts of the teaser.

На этой неделе было столько всего, связанного с Академией, что я не удержалась и села перечитывать первую книгу, которую читала всего раз, в далеком 2009-м году. Сказать, что я почти ничего не помню, кроме пары ключевых точек сюжета, - это приуменьшить. Так что читаю как в первый раз.

Ну а верх блаженства - это читать книгу и слушать музыку, написанную специально для нее.

Прошло уже 3 недели нового года и почти 2 месяца зимы, а я вот только сегодня сменила осеннюю одежку блога. Полный #тормоз!
